In 2021, Jon Grayem, armed with a grand vision to transform the hospitality industry and not constrained by his non-technical background, joined forces with Apoddo. The aspiration was clear – revolutionize the sector by mitigating staff shortages and introducing an efficient, digitalized ordering ecosystem. QR Code and Kiosk ordering were not just features but integral components of this innovative approach to streamline and enhance service delivery within eateries and similar establishments.
Apoddo, armed with technical expertise and an innovative spirit, began the meticulous process of breathing life into Jon’s vision. A team was assembled, composed of individuals not just skilled but also passionate and motivated to chart the course of a new frontier in hospitality.
Four web applications were immaculately crafted utilizing React, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS. Every line of code, every interface, woven with precision, aimed at ensuring that the user experience was as intuitive as it was revolutionary.
Three mobile applications emerged, built from the ground up using Flutter, each a testament to Apoddo’s commitment to quality, innovation, and efficiency.
The API, a critical component of Tabski, was expertly developed using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL, ensuring seamless interactions, robust functionality and scalable platform.
Repoting app is designed to offer restaurants comprehensive insights for informed decision-making. Users gain access to real-time data analytics, featuring an intuitive dashboard that displays key metrics including sales, tips, and tax reports. The platform’s flexibility allows for customized data views, ensuring that establishments can monitor and analyze specific datasets that align with their operational needs. Reporting is accessible via any device, offering convenience and enabling restaurant owners and managers to stay informed, make data-driven decisions, and optimize operational efficiency from anywhere, at any time.
KDS app is developed in Flutter, ensuring cross-platform functionality and efficiency. This Flutter application offers real-time data synchronization, allowing kitchen staff and managers to track order statuses on multiple devices, enhancing order accuracy and preparation speed. It facilitates seamless communication between the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional dining experiences for every customer.
Online Ordering application is engineered to streamline and enhance the food ordering experience for both restaurants and customers. The platform, crafted with user-centric design and functionality, facilitates a seamless and intuitive ordering process. Customers can effortlessly browse menus, make selections, and place orders via a sophisticated yet easy-to-navigate interface. QR Code Ordering solution is a revolutionary approach to modern dining, offering an efficient, safe, and streamlined experience for both patrons and restaurant staff. Customers can effortlessly scan a QR code with their smartphones, leading them to a digital menu where they can browse, select, and place orders seamlessly, without the need for physical menus or waitstaff interaction. For restaurants, it’s a tool that boosts operational efficiency, reduces staff workload, and offers real-time order management, aligning with the evolving needs of the contemporary hospitality landscape.
I am incredibly grateful for the journey Apoddo has facilitated, transforming a conceptual vision into a dynamic, live platform that is Tabski. From our initial conversations, the team at Apoddo exhibited a unique ability to grasp, nurture, and evolve an idea into a functional, user-centric product.
Tabski went live in January 2023. It wasn’t just the launch of a platform; it was the unveiling of a new era in the hospitality industry. By October 2023, Tabski had not only onboarded 1000+ merchants but also engaged over 30,000 users.
Every QR Code scanned, every order placed via the Kiosk, and every interaction on the Tabski platform echoed the innovation, quality, and revolutionary thinking infused into the project by Apoddo.
